Baffle Lights are a family of pendants made for Max & Benito, a restaurant in Vienna we designed in 2019.
Each light is two parts. A sheet-aluminium baffle, laser-cut and powder-coated in a vibrant colour, sits over a frosted acrylic diffuser. The acrylic is laser-cut flat, then heat-folded edge by edge into a simple geometric form — a cube, a cylinder, a faceted drum. The baffle shades the source and bounces colour up into the room; the diffuser holds a soft, even glow underneath.
Made in London, installed in Vienna.
