A family of tubular lounge furniture — single seats, a rocker, three- and five-seat sofas and a day bed — designed at Studio Alt Shift for commercial and domestic use, indoors and out. The range was produced in the UK.
The range comes in a variety of configurations and can be customised to suit specific spatial requirements.
Each piece is built on a powder-coated tubular steel frame, with hardwood seat bases and backrests and cushions upholstered in woven flax. The frames and upholstery take a palette drawn from the line colours of the London Underground, set against oak.
The system is modular: single seats build into three- and five-seat runs and a day bed, the frame carrying post and side tables on the same footprint. A single seat is also made as a rocker, and the whole family adapts for outdoor use in perforated recycled HDPE and weather-resistant twill.
